Apotheotical presentation of the new work by Maestro Carlos João Azevedo

Yesterday the Real Orchestra of Oporto presented, in its absolute premiere at the D. Maria III theater, the work Sinfonia ao Novo Vinho, composed and directed by the guiding hand of the Great Maestro of our Invicta Capital, the excellent Carlos João Azevedo. Their Majesties, D. Manuel II and Dona Maria III, a large part of the Court and many foreign representatives who seek to cultivate friendly relations with the very noble Royal House of Dragão were present. Of particular note is the presence of the  Ambassador of the United States of America, a country that is increasingly keen to show its support and closeness in this confrontation that our beloved Monarchy is facing.

Sinfonia ao Vinho Novo was commissioned to celebrate one year of the discovery of advanced distillation processes, which make Porto the most envied country in the civilized world.  The great Maestro considered, in words he kindly gave to Real Gazeta Invicta, that this Symphony is his Opus Magnum. “Music, gentlemen, is not only the supreme manifestation of the sweetness of the soul, but its secret tones, imperceptible to hearing, influence the sap of life that flows from our hearts”, stated the noble musician. The magnificent work, in three movements, White, Ruby and Vintage, brought the audience to euphoria and brought tears of emotions to the beautiful eyes of Her Majesty, Queen Dona Maria III. Without a doubt, the juice of the undefeated good blood flowed gloriously tonight.
